Dade and Broward county have new compliance laws for buildings that are greater than 40 years old. This new law requires these building to be recertified as too there code compliance and safety standards. The law requires that a detailed inspection report be provided under seal of an architect or engineer authorized to practice in this state attesting to the conditions of the structure.
